Robotic show opens Global AI Summit 2022

Brief

Kitonb Creative Studio approached the Antigravity Show team with a task to create a high-tech, multimedia performance for the opening of the Global AI Summit 2022. The goal was to impress and inspire the guests of the one of the world’s biggest AI forums.

Execution

The Antigravity Show team, which includes Front Pictures, Red Rabbit Entertainment, and PROFI r&d / innovations, created a technology-charged 6-min performance. The act featured live dancing, two LED screens attached to robotic arms, projection mapping, lasers, 7.1 sound, and a 23m LED wall as a background. The Front Pictures team was in charge of robotic arm programming, graphics production, and show control. The content creation involved 3D animations and simulations, as well as motion capture. The robotic arms were pre-programmed with millimeter precision. We were also involved in stage design to help seamlessly incorporate two robotic arms, each weighing 1.5 tons. All elements of the live show were perfectly synchronized with the help of a Screenberry media server.

Impact

This impactful performance, featuring a blend of art and technology, served as the opening act of the Global AI Summit 2022. The show was one of highlights of the event and was featured in many of the summit’s promo videos. It also received imprints in leading Saudi press outlets including The Saudi Post News. Hosted by the SDAIA (Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority), the Global AI Summit 2022 hosted 200+ speakers and industry experts from over 90 countries sharing their thought-provoking ideas in over 100+ sessions for three consecutive days. It also saw about 15,000 delegates in-person and over 21,000 attendees online attending the conference.
